We are excited to announce that our 4th online group exhibition, Synchronicity: Experiments in Coincidence, will be sponsored by Revolog Film! With their support, we will be giving away 3 rolls of Revolog Film to the winner of this online exhibition!

To enter, all you need to do is read and respond to the following prompt by Analog Forever curator and writer Tim Scott!

Tim Scott writes: For this exhibition we are looking beyond specific formats and into the limitless possibilities of alternative film stocks and processes. We want to see how your experiments with film bring out the unique magic of your surroundings and in your art. The goal of this exhibition is to show how diverse a set of images can be even if they are all created with similar or varying degrees of the same technique(s).

We invite you to submit two images made with an experimental process including but not limited to: pre-exposed and flashed film, cross processed film, double exposures, and films soaked in chemicals and abused before or after shooting and development. The best of these images will be showcased in an online show curated by Analog Forever writer and curator Tim Scott, which will go live on our website January 14, 2019! Please follow the directions below to complete your submission. Good luck!

The deadline for submissions is December 31st, 2018.

The Prize - A Package of Revolog Film

One lucky winner will be chosen at random from the photographers selected for this group exhibition to receive a sample pack of 35mm film from Revolog Film! This sample pack will contain one of each of the film’s listed below. To read more about Revolog Film visit their website!

Volvox Film:

With volvox film you get bright green dots in different shapes and sizes all over your photographs. The dots are more visible in darker parts of the image and can give the picture a slight 3D effect. Volvox makes your night shots look like they were taken in a field of glow-worms, gives your party pictures that certain edge they normally lack, and even makes shots of a family dinner suddenly seem extravagant.

35mm colour-negative film,36 exposures, ISO / ASA 200

Kolor Film:

Kolor film is everybody’s favourite! This film adds a rainbow of colours - including red, blue, orange, green, pink, turquoise, and more - to all of your pictures. The added colours vary throughout each roll, so different frames will have different hues and gradients, giving your pictures an unexpected pop of colour. The Kolor film will even make a donkey look like a unicorn.

35mm colour-negative film, 36 exposures, ISO / ASA 200

Kosmos Film:

This effect is extra-terrestrial and will scale down the whole universe into your photographs. Blue stardust will make little galaxies appear on your images.  Play with exposure! The blue nebulas are more visible in darker parts than in brighter areas of the photo. Take pictures of your friends and make them look as if they were lost in space or showering with stardust.
